Meltblown polypropylene filter media offers high filtration efficiency used in a multitude of applications.

Advantages
  • Excellent chemical compatibility
  • Polypropylene has a fiber diameter of only 1 – 10 microns, making it a preferable material in filtration applications
  • High temperature resistance (up to 80°C )
  • Compact and in one piece making it resistant to media shedding
  • The fixed pore structure and microscopic fibers provide integrity, efficiency and maximum retention of particles
  • Material is rigid enough for the process of filtration
  • The fibers help in clogging the smaller particles and improving the precision of the filter
  • Polypropylene makes it free of anti-static agents, surfactants, adhesives, and binders
Applications
  • Particulate removal
  • Lysate clearing
  • Filtration

EMI (Electromagnetic Interface) films are conductive films designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and grounding applications, enabling devices to meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements. These electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive (CPSA) tapes and electrically conductive films provide excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates including metals and plastics. Highly conductive materials fabricated in custom configurations to address a wide variety of EMI shielding applications.

Aluminum foil provides a complete barrier to light, oxygen, moisture and bacteria. For this reason, foil is used extensively in food and pharmaceutical packaging. Aluminum foil tapes are also used on seams and joints of fiberglass and aluminum backed duct board. Coated with a rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive, they provide an excellent barrier to vapor and conform to irregular surfaces. Aluminum foil tape may be used for shielding and covering thermal insulation.

Hydrocolloid offers a high breathability and exudate absorption making it a good option for healing of a skin injury. Hydrocolloids provide a moist environment which allows body enzymes to help heal and are impermeable to bacteria and other contamination.

Hydrogel is highly absorbent hydrophilic polymer material that quickly absorbs and retains a large amount of fluid while maintaining defined structures.

OCA (Optically Clear Adhesives) are used to bond components of touch screens, backlights, liquid crystal displays, capacitive touch panels, and protective covers into an optically clear lamination. Optically Clear Adhesives have high dimensional stability, low shrinkage, and resist discoloration over time.

Key Benefits:

  •   Enhance display brightness and contrast
  •   Improve display robustness and ruggedness
  •   Improves display touch performance
  •    Decreases display reflections

PI (Polyimide) tape is amber colored tape that belongs to the class of high performance plastics. Polyimide tapes are meant to withstand heat during high-temperature masking operations. They offer excellent thermal, chemical and abrasion resistance. PI tapes seal tight on contact and peel off clean at up to 500°F/260°C. They are often used in electronics, automotive, and aerospace industries requiring components with high temperature resistance. The polyimide material is flame retardant, chemical resistant, and radiation-resistant which helps protect surfaces during manufacturing.

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene film) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene. It is a versatile and resistant material best known for its non-stick properties. The nature of the PTFE film provides an extremely slick surface that makes for easy cleanup of surfaces while providing a level of resistance to moisture, chemicals, and abrasions. It is used in a wide variety of industries including aerospace, construction, industrial, electronics, and military applications.

Thermal Management or thermal interface materials allow for efficient heat transfer between components. PLITEK® manufactures thermal management components such as insulator pads, gap pads, and thermal transfer tapes.
