Precision Wearable Device Components for Medical Applications
Wearable medical devices must perform reliably while being exposed to movement, moisture, body heat, skin contact, and extended periods of use. Components may need to conform to curved surfaces, maintain adhesion during movement, protect sensitive electronics or sensors, or provide consistent performance throughout the life of the device.
PLITEK® uses precision converting technologies to manufacture components that address these demanding requirements. Depending on the application, our capabilities include precision die cutting, laser cutting, adhesive coating, multi-layer laminating, slitting and rewinding, custom film extrusion, clean room manufacturing, packaging, and fulfillment.
Our engineers work with customers to evaluate the materials, construction, geometry, tolerances, and manufacturing processes needed to produce consistent wearable device components at the required production volume.
