Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Prospect Heights, IL. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing data, preparing and maintaining cost accounting reports, cost roll ups, creating and managing cost analysis statements, performing journal entries, and supporting the finance team.
Qualifications
- Cost Accounting and Financial Statements skills in a manufacturing setting
- Analytical Skills Experience in creating and managing journal entries
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
