Supplier Code of Conduct

PLITEK®‘s Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all direct and indirect suppliers, sub-contractors, haulers, tolling and storage providers, consultants, advisors, and third-party intermediaries of PLITEK® and its subsidiaries globally.

We strongly encourage our suppliers to go beyond mere compliance and proactively embrace industry-leading Environmental, Social, and Governance and Ethics practices. This includes setting ambitious sustainability goals, implementing innovative solutions to address key challenges, and transparently reporting on performance using globally recognized frameworks such as the UN Global CompactUN Sustainable Development Goals, and Global Reporting Initiative Standards.

At PLITEK®, we hold our suppliers to high standards aligned with our sustainability policy expecting compliance with all relevant environmental, social, and governance regulations while implementing responsible practices that promote fair labor, ethical business conduct, and a safe working environment.

PLITEK® expects our suppliers to align with the standards set forth in this policy, including:

Ethics: Suppliers shall conduct their business in an ethical manner and act with integrity.

Labor: Suppliers shall be committed to uphold the human rights of workers and to treat them with dignity and respect.

Health and Safety: Suppliers shall provide a safe and healthy working environment, including for any company-provided living quarters.

Environment: Suppliers shall operate in an environmentally responsible and efficient manner, and they shall minimize adverse impacts on the environment.

Management Systems: Suppliers shall use management systems to facilitate continual improvement and compliance with the expectations of these principles.

Privacy and Data Security: Suppliers shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect privacy and prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data.

Assessment and Compliance

We may periodically request suppliers to reconfirm their adherence to our Code of Conduct and may require detailed assessments or audits.

In cases of non-conformance, we will work with suppliers to address and rectify identified issues. For serious or repeated violations, we reserve the right to review and potentially terminate the business relationship.
