Inside Sales Support

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Support to join our Sales Team. This person will be responsible for communicating with existing customers, developing new leaders, and supporting a smooth and effective sales process. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a proactive listener, and driven to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicate with customers and prospects via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding quotes, orders, lead times, and product details.
  • Process and manage sales orders in the company’s ERP/CRM system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, proposals, and other documentation as needed.
  • Support lead generation efforts through research and outreach.
  • Handle and resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely, professional manner.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, pricing, and inventory availability.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist the outside sales team with administrative tasks, scheduling, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with marketing on customer engagement initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Support customer service with overflow inquiries when necessary.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and production to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in team meetings, sales training, and performance reviews.
  • Performing additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree. – Preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems. – Preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and customer-focused mindset.
