Outside Sales Representative with Sales Engineering experience. Career Position!
As an Outside Sales Representative / Sales Engineer you will be selling technical / precision die-cut components and converted materials used in the medical, industrial, packaging, and automotive marketplaces. Because our business is in a niche marketplace, make to order, and engineered to order converted products; Plitek will require that you be extremely consultative with customers to help guide them through designing, developing, and delivering a product that meets their specifications.

Here’s a little more on our requirements:
- 5 or more years experience in a B2B consultive type product sales environment. (Medical devices, adhesive die-cutting, packaging film, and etc.).
- Prior success as a Sales Engineer selling to New Product Development Teams, Engineering, and business owners, in a highly competitive market.
- Successfully demonstrated ROI, new technologies, and product comparisons.
- Excellent territory management skills and build strong long-term relationships.
- You work with the client to problem-solve through every hurdle during the sales process.
- You must be a hunter and be willing to travel to cover your territory and assigned Accounts domestically and internationally.
- You are skilled at following a sales process; are strategic in your prospecting strategies; and experienced in managing a longer, technical sales cycle.
- Be an excellent communicator with our internal resources in engineering, manufacturing, and management.
- Previous experience in packaging (film), converting, die-cutting, extrusion, components/connectors and injection-molded products is a plus.
