We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee and optimize the company’s financial operations, risk management, and business performance in the manufacturing field. This role is critical in safeguarding assets, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. The Controller will drive operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and provide insights to guide executive management in achieving organizational goals.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Supervise and manage accounting and costing operations, treasury functions, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
- Cash & Credit Management: Safeguard and manage cash flows, monitor customer credit, and optimize working capital.
- Billing & Accounts Payable: Ensure timely and accurate invoice and supplier payments.
- Inventory & Fixed Assets: Oversee inventory controls, ordering, tracking, and fixed asset management, including depreciation and burden rates.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to support company objectives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor financial staff to build a high-performing team.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors to complete annual audits and maintain robust internal controls.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive management to establish, supervise accounting report, and enforce policies and procedures that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Payroll: Supervise payroll processing
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting operations, and risk control.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor teams.
- Excellent communication skills to work with executives and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
